Classics Illustrated is an American comic book/magazine series featuring adaptations of literary classics such as this, of “The First Men in the Moon by H.G. Wells.” Created by Albert Kanter, the series began publication in 1941 and finished its run in 1969, producing 169 issues. This is issue #144, and came out in Winter, 1969. The comic book is in good, age-related condition — the pages are all intact and the covers are in good shape.
